My August release from Harlequin Romance and Mills & Boon RIVA will hit store shelves in just a few short weeks. I received my advance copies the other day. It's hard to believe this is my 25th book! I received my 25th book pin from Harlequin last week at the Black & White Ball in New York's Waldorf Astoria. Quite a proud moment for me!

I'm really excited to have my titles released through this new fresh and modern Mills & Boon line. My first RIVA book will be THE ROAD NOT TAKEN in March.

In the meantime, if you live in the U.K, be sure to go to Selfridges on London's Oxford Street and check out The Together Shop. It will be up and running through Feb. 18 and features Mills & Boon writer Heidi Rice as the author-in-residence during Valentine's Day Week.

Here's what's coming in 2011

I have at least two new titles coming out in 2011. Arriving on store shelves in the U.S. in March is "The Daddy Diaries." It will be released the same month in the U.K. as "The Road Not Taken." I'm not sure why the different titles for the different markets, but I hope readers will pick it up.

In July, my first Romantic Comedy comes out in the U.K. I'm still not firm on a release date in the U.S. The title is "Mr. Right There All Along."

Just a couple more weeks until Christmas arrives. I'm almost done with my shopping and, just as importantly, I'm done with what will be my 25th book! That certainly helps put the merry in Christmas.

Mills & Boon By Request is re-releasing my 2004 book, Her Stand-In Groom, in the UK in October in the anthology Gorgeous Grooms.

Gorgeous grooms. Mmm. Stephen Danbury definitely fits the description!

The anthology also includes books by the Liz Fielding and Natasha Oakley.

Bella Rosa book gets 4.5 stars

I'm very excited to announce that my Brides of Bella Rosa book, America's Star-Crossed Sweethearts, earned 4.5 stars from RT. The series is wonderful and my book, out in October, is number seven of eight.

Look for another Harlequin Romance from me in August. This one is the third in the Girls Weekend in Vegas continuity I was invited to participate in with talented authors Melissa McClone, Myrna Mackenzie and Shirley Jump.

Myrna's book, "Saving Cinderella" is out now. Look for Shirley's book, "Vegas Pregnancy Surprise" in July. Mine, titled "Inconveniently Wed" comes out in August, and Melissa winds up the series with "Wedding Date with the Best Man."

I'm excited to say my latest book is on store shelves now. It's "A Dinner, a Date, a Desert Sheikh." For those in the UK, yes, this is the book that came out in March titled "Sheikh in the City." The title was changed for its release on this side of the pond.

The book represents a bit of a departure for me. I've never written about a sheikh before. Nor have I ever created a fictional country. I found both to be challenging and, at the end of the day, rewarding. It's good to shake (or is that sheikh) things up every now and again.
